Effective date: 17 August 2026 · Entity: MRH Mortgage Pty Ltd

Purpose and scope

This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use this website, contact us or ask us to assist with credit. It should be read together with any privacy consent, credit proposal or other disclosure provided during a credit application.

Information we may collect

Initial enquiries. We may collect your name, email, telephone number, preferred contact method, location, loan purpose and the information you choose to include in your message.

Credit assistance. If you proceed, we may need identification, residency or visa evidence, employment and income information, bank statements, assets and liabilities, living expenses, credit-history information, tax or business records and property or transaction documents.

Technical information. Website infrastructure may process standard security and access logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time of access.

Calculator inputs. The calculators and preliminary AI assessment run in your browser. The financial inputs are not submitted to us unless you separately choose to copy information into an enquiry.

How we use information

  • respond to an enquiry and provide requested credit assistance;
  • assess, prepare, submit and administer a credit application with your authority;
  • communicate with lenders, insurers, valuers, legal or conveyancing providers and other relevant participants;
  • meet legal, licensing, audit, fraud-prevention and record-keeping obligations; and
  • operate, secure and improve our website and services.

We do not sell personal information.

Disclosure

Where relevant and authorised, personal or credit-related information may be disclosed to prospective lenders and funders, mortgage insurers, credit reporting bodies, valuers, settlement or legal service providers, identity-verification providers, our licensee ratesonline.com.au Pty Ltd (ACL 384404), regulators and other parties required to complete the requested service or comply with law.

Website and email service providers

The public enquiry form is processed on our website infrastructure and delivered to our business email using an email delivery provider. Hosting, security and email providers may process limited data as service providers. Do not include identity-document numbers, tax file numbers, bank credentials or sensitive financial documents in the initial public form.

Storage, security and overseas processing

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet or email transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Some technology providers may process data outside Australia; where applicable, we take reasonable steps concerning provider safeguards and legal requirements.

Retention

Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed for the relevant service and to meet legal, licensing, dispute-resolution and record-keeping obligations. Information that is no longer required is deleted or de-identified where lawful and practical.

Access and correction

You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse access where permitted by law, in which case we will explain the basis where required.
